Schiphol Airport bouwt nieuwe A-Pier en Terminal

01 April 2016

The capacity of Schiphol airport will be expanded further in coming years with the construction of a new pier and corresponding terminal. Pier A and the terminal are necessary to effectively respond to the increasing number of passengers.

The secrets of water mist as an extinguishig agent

It goes without saying that safety and security are focal areas at the Netherlands’ national airport. Through our colleagues at FPC Risk in Belgium, Riskonet has already been involved in part of this, namely fire safety.

Riskonet has now been contracted as part of the construction of Pier A and terminal to determine the starting points for the sprinkler protection system. This will probably be based on NFPA codes and standards. We are proud of this contract, which further strengthens our relationship with the airport.
