Predictive maintenance
The aims of predictive maintenance (PDM) are firstly to predict when equipment might fail, then, secondly, to prevent the failure by carrying out maintenance. Monitoring for future failure allows maintenance to be planned before a failure occurs. Obviously, well-performed predictive maintenance has a positive effect on an organisation’s risk-management performance.

INFRARED THERMOGRAPHY
A particularly popular and cost-effective tool in our predictive maintenance offering is Thermal Imaging. This is a technique whereby thermal images are created from the infrared radiation that is emitted by an object. Thermography flags up potential failures, thus preventing unscheduled shutdowns.
Thermography is not only used to identify potential failure risks that could lead to unscheduled operational interruptions, it is also used to generate savings through tracking operational efficiency (i.e. cold-room storage, silos and other controlled and regulated atmospheres).
